Sophia (the fluffier of our two cats) has this thing about the bathroom and needs to beat me to the bathroom where she then jumps on top of the toilet seat (our seats are always down) and then I gently pick her up and put her back on the floor. Over and over, each and every time. One night I got up in the middle of the night to use the loo, and Sophia ran to the bathroom. Since I'm blind w/o my glasses or contacts, and since it was dark, I didn't know she was doing this, although I should have just known... I got into the bathroom two seconds after she did (and no, I still didn't see her), and I lifted up the toilet seat right when she was leaping to sit on top of the toilet seat. She ended up with some wet front paws. This incident didn't stop her from still doing this, either. Cats are very strange and wonderful beasties.
