This is really interesting and quite amazing. Apparently Oxford scientists have made a mathematical discovery that parallel universes do in fact exist! It’s being described as “one of the most important developments in the history of science”.
Apparently you can be a COMPLETE idiot and STILL get into MIT!! I hope this person gets the maximum time in prison and MIT should kick her ass out of their school.
Also, she plead Not Guilty to the charge of “carrying a Hoax device”! I really hate how people won’t take responsibility for their actions anymore now-a-days.
This thing is amazing! At the moment this is the only reason i’ll be watching the olympics from China. I want to see more of this. Really amazing architecture and design.
Woo hoo!! Fred Thompson announced that he will be running for President. I’m really excited about this. I decided a while ago that Fred was the guy for me to get behind, so I’m glad that he actually finally decided to run! All the other candidates had at least one thing about them that kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I happen to agree with everything that Fred Thompson has said and done so far and I really look forward to him being our next President of the United States.
My Grandpa died this week. It’s hard for me to put into words what he meant to me. I can’t even begin to describe it. He was one of the greatest men I’ve ever known (the other being my own dad). He was tough as nails and NEVER complained. He and my grandma wanted only the best for us, and I believe that everything they did was done with that in mind.
It’s sad to see him go. They don’t make them like him anymore. He was someone that I will always look up to and try to model myself after. If I can end up being even half the man that he was, I’ll be happy.
Goodbye Grandpa. We will love and miss you forever. Rest in Peace.
Grandpa loved football and played back in his home state of Nebraska!
Here he is with his son Wayne and daughters Carol and Linda.
And here he is with Walker in his role of Great-Grandpa! He really loved Walker.
On Saturday my Sister-in-law, Elizabeth, and I went down to the Comic Book Convention in San Diego. We had a really good time and saw some cool stuff. It was super crowded and the place is so huge and packed with so much stuff that its nearly impossible to see everything in just one day, but I think I was able to take in a good deal of stuff.
There is so much cool stuff there its hard not to spend a ton of money and go into debt! I was good though and only bought a few things. One of the coolest things I saw were a bunch of figurines of the crazy little characters from the Heironymus Bosch painting “The Garden of Earthly Delights”. This is one of my favorite paintings so I was really excited about these things (unfortunately I didn’t think to take a picture of them!). They were really detailed and looked exactly like the painting. I think that was a really cool idea to do that. They also had a figurine of one of my favorite Dali paintings too! I am going to try to find the place online and order some. They’re from Denmark or something like that. Other than that there was a lot of really amazing artwork and toys there, and of course there were a few comic books there too.
There were a lot of people dressed up, as usual. I think my favorite costume of the entire day had to be the dude that was dressed up as an Elvis Stormtrooper! He had a Stormtrooper costume on from Star Wars but he didn’t have his helmet on. Instead he had an elvis wig (with sideburns of course) and sunglasses and he wore an Elvis cape. It was pretty sweet.
Here are some pictures.
A bunch of different artists painted Darth Vader busts. I think this was for some charity and for the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars.
I thought this one was the best!
A really crappy photo of some really cool looking World of Warcraft statuettes that will be coming out later this year!
another crappy photo. It’s really hard to take good pictures because of the insane crowd of people!
Very cool sculpture of that devil dude from the movie Legend. I love the character design of this guy. amazing! Never seen the movie though.
NOSFERATU!!!
I want!
This statuette of Voldemort was absolutely amazing! It was so realistic!
This was a very well done costume. I don’t know how these people do it. It would drive me crazy to have all that make-up and stuff on.
She was such a great woman. She and My Grandfather have built an amazing, tightly-knit, strong and loving family. We will carry her loving memory with us forever and always remember the great times we shared with her and the impact that she’s had on our lives.
Rest in Peace Grandma. We Love you!
