Christmas Eve 2008

December 27th, 2008

Walker had his 3rd Christmas celebration at Grandma and Grandpa Biffar’s. This year he was really excited to see Santa and did a great job thanking everyone for his gifts. He sure did get a lot of loot! Thank you everyone for making our Chirstmases so special.

Disneyland at Christmas time

December 6th, 2008

Last Sunday we went with Aunt Elizabeth to Disneyland to see the Christmas decorations. Walker loved going on It’s a Small World, seeing Jack Skellington at the haunted mansion, and driving a car for the very first time! Walker is one lucky boy. Thanks Aunt Elizabeth!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Walker had another awesome Thanksgiving at Aunt Linda’s house in San Diego. This year he actually sat and ate turkey! Walker had fun playing with his cousins and sleeping over. Thank you Aunt Linda for the fabulous meal and lovely hospitality.

Bolt

November 23rd, 2008

Today we went to see a matenee showing of Bolt. This was the first time Walker sat through a whole movie! We got there right before the previews started and Walker sat patiently through them sitting perched on the edge of his seat with his hand on dad’s leg. Walker snacked on popcorn and fruit punch and watched the movie all the way through the credits. At the end he said,”Let’s watch it again.” I’m so proud of him.

camouflage

November 17th, 2008

Yesterday Walker and I were chillin on the couch. I was looking through a magazine when I spotted some cute little kid camo pants.  I leaned over to Walker and said, “I’m going to get  you a new pair of camos.”  Walker looks up and says “Noooo I don’t want a pair of camos, I want a pair of Donkeys!”

That still makes me laugh. :-)

sick again..

November 16th, 2008

A sick nap on Friday.

The poor little dude came down with some icky virus this past weekend. He’s had fevers of 103 and a bad cough and runny nose. Luckily he feels much better today. I didn’t have many pics from this weekend so here are some from a week ago when we made mac and cheese. Walker sure loves to cook.

Trick or Treating ‘08

November 2nd, 2008

Walker was really excited to go Trick or Treating this year. He went up and down the neighborhood until his bag got so heavy Grandpa had to carry it. He loved being a blue monster and being out at night.

Harvest Party

October 26th, 2008

On Friday Walker went to the Harvest Party at daycare. He got to wear his new blue monster outfit and made cool halloween crafts. Walker even got to enjoy an orange frosted cupcake that smeared down the white belly of his costume. Luckily it came out in the wash. Walker sure made a cute monster.

Bob Baker’s Marionette Theater

October 19th, 2008

A few months ago a puppet show came to Walker’s daycare. Since then he’s been talking about puppets all the time, especially after he saw a Pinnochio puppet at Disneyland. This weekend we found an old Marionette Theater and went to the show. He loved it. I thought a few of the puppets were kinda scary but he didn’t mind at all. This place was very cool, the people were friendly and we even got ice cream after the show! The theater was founded in 1963 and is certainly part of LA’s history.
