Walker had his first visit to the Dentist this morning.
He did such a great job! He was a very good boy. Completely calm and asking the dentist all kinds of questions the whole time. We’re so proud of him.
He does have 2 cavities though. The dentist says they aren’t very serious and don’t require drilling. So we are going back in a couple of days to have them filled.
This year we celebrated Mother’s day at Cafe Fiore where Uncle Kenny is the executive chef. Walker had fun because there was a balloon lady and he loved seeing Uncle Kenny do his stuff in the kitchen. We all enjoyed a long brunch eating great food!
Two weeks ago we spent a weekend with Grandma and Grandpa at Legoland. We all had a blast. I think Walker had more fun there than he did at Disneyland because it was less crowded. He even got to drive his own car all by himself!
Here’s a bunch of pictures from Easter (It was also Margaret’s Birthday!). We had a really fun time at Grandma & Grandpa Biffar’s house. Walker got lots of candy and money!!
The Family. Thank you Easter Bunny, for taking this picture.
Walker really likes the Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs trailer. He kept wanting to watch it again and again. This was the 2nd time he saw it. His favorite part is when Flint and Sam jump into the pool of Jell-o!
Walker really got a kick out of watching this video of him at his new daycare. He kept wanting to watch it over and over again. Each time he would crack up at the end when he falls down after going down the slide. He wanted me to say “BOOM!” each time he fell.
Walker will be turning 3 on Tuesday. We celebrated with a bunch of friends and family at Scooter’s jungle. We all had so much fun! Walker had the best time. Thank you everyone for making it so special. It was one big party success.
When we were at the park Walker picked up a rock and wanted to throw it at the Bear statue. I told him no so he decided he’d walk up the hill a bit and throw it at a tree instead. I think after he did it he was a little worried that the tree might come after him, because he kept looking back, over his shoulder, as he was walking away.
Yesterday we took Walker to visit the new daycare that he’ll be starting next week. It’s real close to our work and we’ll all be able to spend more time with each other now on the commute too and from work. And if there is ever an emergency or he gets sick, he’ll be right there with us.
He had a good time and really likes the new school a lot. When I told him it was time to go (I had to get back to work) he didn’t want to leave!
His first day is Monday. I think he’s going to do just fine and fit in really well. He seems really comfortable already.
Here is a video of him playing around on the play set outside with the other kids.
