Walker says quite a few things these days, some things are super clear but some things are still garbled mimicked sounds. I think he’s going to be talking up a storm pretty soon. His usual banter: wow, apple, uh-oh, Oh-NO!, hi, bye, buhbye, Mama, Dada, mo (more), my (mine), Elmo, eye, nose, gwep (grape), weego (Wiggles), head, hat, juice, hot, ball, wass that? (what’s that?), duck!

Visiting Grandma & Grandpa B

Today Walker visited Grandma and Grandpa B. He had fun playing with the garden hose and exploring the house and garden.

Pictures
Margaret
Today I snapped some low quality pics with my camera phone while we were out for lunch at BJs. It surprises me how quickly Walker is changing and growing taller. His baby chubs are disappearing and his arms, legs and face are thinning out. Sometimes you can really see how he might look as an older kid in pictures. What’s happening to my rolly polly little baby?
so ma, where’s the grub?

Boohbahs
Margaret
Dad was showing Walker the Boohbah website when Walker grabbed the mouse and proceeded to play one of the games himself! Check out his mouse moves in this movie clip. He’s one smart baby!

7.7.7
Margaret
This year we celebrated the 4th of July at Aunt Mouse’s house on the 7th. Walker had fun running around the yard, playing and eating party food. He also had his first taste of BBQ’d turkey!
He’s off!

Stink Eye
Margaret
Walker’s having a rough weekend. He got his 15 month vaccination shots on Friday and it was the first time in his life he realized shots really hurt!! He screamed so hard no sound came out of his mouth. Luckily his nurse came back with some cookies and he ate them through teary eyes and sniffles – SO sad. Later that day he got sent home from Kindercare because they thought he had pink eye. When Wes picked him up he was quarantined at the front desk with a goopie puffy eye and a new expression on his face Wes calls the “Bull Dog” (frowning with bottom jaw jutted out). I took him to Urgent care the next morning and they confirmed it was pink eye. We got drops for it and I thought that would be the end of that sickness. But I was wrong! He now has some crazy snotty congestion again and cough and a fever that shows up now and then of 103. We’ve been giving him tylenol to keep him comfortable and I’m hoping the fever is helping fight whatever crazy bug he has. My Poor little man.
